Note: Definitely think the news about a CBA provision for the 2026-27 season which would allow an NHL team to put one 19-year old per season in AHL rather than having to send them back to CHL is pretty, pretty, pretty significant. Worked out really well for Cole Perfetti (obviously under different circumstances but same idea of playing in AHL as a 19-year old).
