Note: Definitely think the news about a CBA provision for the 2026-27 season which would allow an NHL team to put one 19-year old per season in AHL rather than having to send them back to CHL is pretty, pretty, pretty significant. Worked out really well for Cole Perfetti (obviously under different circumstances but same idea of playing in AHL as a 19-year old).

Note II: The Jets signed their first RFA on Friday inking defenceman Isaak Phillips to a two-year, two-way contract

The Carillon: Martin right at home when playing at Winnipeg Jets development camp. Quite the experience to go from a kid hoping to meet an NHL player to a few years later being a prospect of the team in your home province and having young kids look for a photo or autograph with/from you.
