Note: Day 1 of the NHL Draft went into the books on Friday night with the Jets selecting Sascha Boumedienne with the 28th overall pick. We heard from him following the Draft which you can watch here. We also heard from Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff which you can watch here. Rounds 2-7 continue today starting at 11 AM CDT. Winnipeg has four selections to make in rounds 3, 5, 6 & 7.

Note III: While some fans were hoping to see Jets draft pick Dmitry Rashevsky (2021 5th) finally make his way to Winnipeg we learned on Friday that he’s gonna remain in the KHL signing with Avangard Omsk.
