Note: The Jets held an optional practice on Monday as they got ready for today’s Game 4 today. Morning skate for Winnipeg gets underway at 11:30 AM CDT so stay tuned for the pre-game report to ensure you’re up-to-date on the latest news. Puck drop is at 7 PM CDT.

Note II: This evening, after the final buzzer sounds between Winnipeg and Dallas, we want you to be part of the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show as we discuss and analyze the results of Game 4 starting around 9:40 PM CDT.

Note III: Last night there was a Game 3 in the OHL Championship which involved two Jets prospects. It was Jacob Julien (2023 5th) and his London squad taking a 2-1 series lead over Colby Barlow (2023 1st) and his Oshawa club with a 7-5 victory. Julien had a shorthanded goal while Barlow scored once and had an assist (he’s third in playoff scoring). Game 4 is on Wednesday night.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun: ‘We haven’t played a full 60’: Jets need a road win against the Dallas Stars in Game 4. They’ve played ten playoff games so that’s a pretty incredible statement. Guess there’s no time like the present.

Winnipeg Sun: Lacking power behind the punch: Jets power play looking to get in the air against the Stars. You can’t have the best power play in the entire NHL and then just don’t. This team will need to figure out their special teams asap.

Winnipeg Free Press: Finding another gear against the Stars. (Paywall). Similar to the above sentiment about the power play you don’t go from being the best road team in the NHL and then suddenly you can’t win away from Manitoba. It’s something Winnipeg is gonna have to figure out starting tonight.

Winnipeg Free Press: Jets must come up with solutions to gain back home-ice advantage. (Paywall). A much better effort is needed tonight. One that doesn’t see any lapses in the details.

The Athletic Winnipeg: Jets’ top players must quickly find a way to outplay Mikko Rantanen and the Stars. (Paywall). Time to let the big dogs eat.

Sportsnet: Time is now for Jets to find consistency and end road slump. Indeed it is.

Global News: Stars keep responding in NHL playoffs, now top-seeded Jets have to in Game 4 to get even. The Jets need to match the Stars effort and do what they’ve done when they needed to this season, which is bounce back from a loss.

Jets video:

TSN: Jets desperate for a road breakthrough in Game 4. The Jets have yet to come away with a victory on the road in these playoffs and Connor Hellebuyck’s stats away from home are indicative of Winnipeg’s road woes. TSN Hockey analyst Bruce Boudreau joined Gino Reda to weigh in what Hellebuyck has to do in order to get out of his funk and the call on Alexander Petrovic’s eventual game-winning goal for the Stars in Game 3.
