Note: The Jets, sans Luke Schenn who was back with his family in Nashville, hit the ice for a practice as they got set for today’s matinee against the Sabres. No morning skate of course so we expect the lineup with look the same except it appears Logan Stanley will be back in (for Haydn Fleury) and our guess is that Eric Comrie gets the start in net. We will have to wait for warm-up skate 30 minutes before puck drop to know for certain.
Note II: This evening, after the final buzzer sounds between Winnipeg and Buffalo, we want you to be part of the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show as we discuss and analyze the results of the game starting around 4:40 PM CDT.
Note III: The Moose needed to pick up two points after losing the night before to the Canucks. It was a good back and forth which required Manitoba to scored two goals in 32 seconds to tie the game in the 3rd before they ultimately lost in overtime. They are off today and will hit the road on Monday for three games.
Note IV: On Saturday Headlines Elliotte Friedman announced that Jets centre Mark Scheifele to become part of WHL ownership group of the Penticton Vees.
