Note: The Jets finally got the power play back in business scoring twice last night in Elmont, NY as they kicked off their four-game road trip with a battle against the Islanders but ultimately they fell 3-2 as they were unable to find the back of the net at 5 on 5. They are off today.
Note II: The Moose were loose early on Tuesday as they played their second school day game of the season. They welcomed the Griffins to town and picked up a rare home victory as birthday boy Domenic DiVincentiis celebrated his 21st by backstopping Manitoba to a 5-2 win over Grand Rapids.
