Note: All good things must come to an end so we are told and that’s what happened last night in Nashville as the Jets win streak of 11 straight was concluded by Juuse Saros and the Predators by a final score of 2-1. That wrapped up an unusual road trip which saw them play a back-to-back in Ottawa on Wednesday and Nashville on Thursday. They had a practice on the schedule today but as we expected the team changed it to an off day. They play the Flyers for the lone home game before heading back east. The schedule maker did them no favours during this unusual stretch.
Note II: The Moose practiced in Belleville on Thursday as they look to keep their strong road trip going with the two-game sweep of the Senators after they cameback to win the first game of this set on Wednesday night in overtime for the second consecutive game. Puck drop is at 6 PM CST.
Note III: After going eight games without a goal Jets prospect Kevin He (2024 4th) scored his 28th of the season for Niagara. He’s still been getting assists (six to be precise) during that goalless stretch. He’s got 28G 36A 64 points in 53 games.
