Note: The Jets have spent the last few days off the ice as they rest and recover as a group following their hitting the midpoint of the season which they did with a 27-12-2 record which was good enough for second overall in the NHL. There are some question marks coming into morning skate which gets underway at 10:30 AM CST with Colin Miller leaving the game against the Wings in the first period after taking a puck to the throat and whether Dylan Samberg is ready to come off IR just over six weeks since he broke his foot. Stay tuned for the pre-game report to ensure you’re up-to-date on the latest. Puck drop is at 7 PM CST.

Note II: This evening, after the final buzzer sounds between Winnipeg and Nashville, we want you to be part of the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show as we discuss and analyze the results of the game starting around 9:40 PM CST.

Note III: The Moose were off on Monday and today they’ll hit the ice in Milwaukee for a practice as they look to build on their successful start to the road trip which saw them take three of four points against the top team in the league in the Wranglers. They’ll face off against the Admirals tomorrow night.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press: Jets primed for second-half success. (Paywall). Wieber gives his take on why the NHL club of Winnipeg should be able to have more success as they start their run to the playoffs.

Sportsnet: Top line proving doubters wrong. In his latest piece Jacob wrote a midseason review of the Jets covering his best surprise being the top line silencing the critics, his biggest disappointment being the second line and his big question is when will Kevin Cheveldayoff starting wheeling and dealing.

Global News: Should Jets be concerned over mid-season stumble? As Kelly writes some Jets fans are getting that deja vu feeling from previous iterations of this team. But should they?

The Athletic Winnipeg: What Dylan Samberg’s return means for the Jets defence in the short, medium and long term. (Paywall). He’s been out of the lineup since end of November and it has been pretty evident, especially on the penalty kill, what this team is missing without 54 in the lineup.

WST: Jets Week in Review. Connor Hrabchak hosts Winnipeg Jets Weekly – a review of the past week in Winnipeg Jets news and a look ahead of what’s to come. Connor discusses the Winnipeg Jets games against the Nashville Predators, Colorado Avalanche, Anaheim Ducks and Detroit Red Wings.
