Note: The Jets ended their two-game road trip on a sour note as they (deservedly) suffered a 3-2 loss that came in the last 25 seconds of the contest. As we said on the IC Post-Game Show it was probably for best because they cannot play like they have the last few games against better competition and expect a positive result. Games like they had in San Jose and last night in Anaheim should be a wake up call for this team, who are still in top spot in the NHL, that they need to be better. They fly home from southern California today so no media availability.
Note II: The Moose practiced on Wednesday and will have another one today as they get ready for their game on Friday against Rockford. Practice starts at 10:30 AM CST at hockey for all centre so check back for the Practice Report.
Note III: The Jets made some room on the roster by waiving right-shot defenceman Dylan Coghlan on Wednesday and today we learn if he clears and can be assigned to the Moose or gets claimed. That news should come out around 1 PM CST so stay tuned for that.

Winnipeg Free Press: Blue-line battle in full swing. (Paywall). Based on what we’ve seen since Dylan Samberg has gone down with his broken foot at least this much is clear: the Jets need to back up the Brinks Trucks to get him signed to a long-term deal cause this team can ill afford not to have him in the lineup. The Jets D has not looked good during this stretch with 54 off the ice.
Global News: Terry’s late tally sends Ducks past Winnipeg Jets 3-2. Russ and Christian combine for this game recap.
