Note: The Jets left San Jose with another two points in the standings bank after a 4-3 win over the Sharks keeps them rolling along having gone 5-1-1 in their last seven games which has kept them atop the NHL standings. No time to rest as they are back in action this evening in southern California as they take on the Ducks in Anaheim. No morning skate so we will have to wait to find out if any of the healthy scratches will get into the lineup tonight. Stay tuned for the pre-game report to ensure you’re up-to-date on the latest. Puck drop is at 9 PM CST.

Note II: This evening, after the final buzzer sounds between Winnipeg and Anaheim, we want you to be part of the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show as we discuss and analyze the results of the game starting around 11:40 PM CST.

Note III: The Moose had been scheduled to be off on Tuesday but the team skated after going winless on their four-game road trip. We got some health updates and a look at the lines in our practice report. The team is back on the ice today for another practice at 10:30 AM CST.

Note IV: We learned yesterday that the Jets signed prospect Kevin He (2024 4th) to a three-year ELC . He’s up to 23G 20A for 43 points in 29 games. He’s producing 1.48 pts/g which is up from 0.83 last season. He sits 4th in the OHL in goals and 14th in the points race. Check out the link above as we’ve included a bunch of the clips showing off his goals and assists for the IceDogs.

Winnipeg Free Press: Jets make ‘hungry’ He first China-born player to sign in NHL. (Paywall). Mike caught up with the 2024 4th rounder after his historic contract was signed.

Winnipeg Sun: That’s 500 and counting: Ignore Jets’ Neal Pionk at your own risk. Using the word risk in the headline seems appropriate as that element is found in his game which is why folks are hoping Dylan Samberg can return sooner rather than later to help get him back to a more consistent style. Chaos aside it is impressive that an undrafted player gets to the 500 game plateau.

Global News: Lowry’s late goal lifts Winnipeg Jets to 4-3 win in San Jose. Christian and Russ recap the game.

Mercury News: Sharks cough up another third period lead in latest loss. (Paywall). Read about the game from a writer that covers the Jets opponent.
