Note: The Jets got back to their winning ways on Wednesday night in Detroit as Kyle Connor led the way in his home state with a goal and two assists (including getting his 500th point) en route to a 6-2 win over the Red Wings. With the victory Winnipeg improved to 9-1-0 and we took a quick look at the historical context of this ten game segment. The team are off today ahead of wrapping up their two-game road trip in Columbus tomorrow night.
Note II: We did learn yesterday that both Ville Heinola and Jaret Anderson-Dolan have resumed skating.
Note III: The Moose held an optional skate in Winnipeg on Wednesday as they gave their players some time off the ice (if they elected to take it) given it would have meant five straight days of being on the ice (three of practice and then back-to-back games). I did have a really informative chat with Manitoba goalie coach Drew MacIntyre who provided great insight into the youngest goalie tandem in the AHL. That will be posted later today. The Moose hit the ice at Canada Life Centre at 10:30 AM CDT as they continue to get ready to host the Admirals this weekend starting on Friday night.
