Day 14 interviews: In case you missed anything from Wednesday we spoke with Nino Niederreiter (watch here), Brad Lambert (watch here) as well as head coach Scott Arniel (watch here).

Note: The Jets new look power play struck again as Nikolaj Ehlers tied the game in the 1st period and things would head into the final frame with the Flames tied 2-2 after Nino Niederreiter got his first of the pre-season. Winnipeg opened things up in the 3rd with three goals by Nino Niederreiter, Simon Lundmark and Kyle Connor which led to a 5-2 victory. The win didn’t come without a cost as David Gustafsson left the game in the 2nd period and would be evaluated today as per head coach Scott Arniel. They are scheduled to skate at 12 noon today.

Note II: Seems likely they may wait to make any cuts till Saturday as then they’ll know if they’ve come through the last exhibition game unscathed although cuts could happen anytime. We’ll have things covered so keep it locked here and make sure you’re subscribed to our YouTube channel.

Note III: The AHL club of Manitoba will play their first exhibition game of the pre-season when they welcome the University of Manitoba Bisons to hockey for all centre. The game group will skate at 10 AM with the non-game group skating at 11 AM. Puck drop is at 6 PM CT.
