Note: If you’d like to plan out your 2024-25 schedule the full 82 games on the Jets calendar are now out which you can see here.
Note II: That wasn’t the only schedule which came out as we learned the Jets Development Camp roster and schedule. The prospect will hit the ice for the first time starting today at 9:30 AM CDT at hockey for all centre. Check out the full roster and schedule here.
Note III: The Jets signed a pair of players as per Darren Dreger who tweeted that Winnipeg added defenceman Haydn Fleury and centre Mason Shaw to one-year, two-way deals.
Note IV: Moose announced a trio of signings on Wednesday getting three D men under contract, each on two-year deals.
Note V: Happy Independence Day to all our friends in the United States celebrating the 4th of July.
Jets news:
Winnipeg Sun: Jets add to depth with two-way signings. Paul recaps the depth moves made by the organization.
Winnipeg Free Press: Jets continue to add depth through free agency. (Paywall). Adding to the competition pool isn’t a bad thing and teams can always use more depth.
The Hockey Writers: Jets smart to be quiet to start free agency. Don’t disagree with Connor’s assertion because there are usually quite a few deals that end up stinking within a few years after being handed out during the free agency frenzy. Will this translate to opportunity for young guys? Perhaps. Just think about last training camp where many folks wanted Parker Ford to be the 13th forward. He went to the A played all 72 games for the Moose and finished with 18 goals and 23 assists for 41 points.

Ray & Dregs Podcast: Discussing the Winnipeg Jets and Free Agency. Nothing particularly new aside from Dreger indicating the Jets tried on Blake Lizotte which I found interesting given his history with Gabriel Vilardi and Josh Morrissey.
