Note: For just the second time since returning to Winnipeg the Jets did not make a selection in the first round of the NHL Draft (the only other time was 2018). There had been talk that Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff, who spoke prior to the draft getting underway, would attempt to get back into the first round via trade.
