Note: Rumour is that Moose assistant coach Nolan Baumgartner is heading east to join the Senators staff with his old head coach Travis Green.

Note II: Yesterday at 4 PM CDT was the last day for the Jets to sign 2020 5th rounder Anton Johannesson to a contract. They did not which means he is free to sign with anyone else.

The Hockey News: Three young forwards who could be trade options this summer. There sure seems to be a drum beat in the media for the Jets 2020 1st rounder to get a change of scenery but after potting 19 goals this past season I don’t see it happening. Especially with a new coaching staff which will likely be more inclined to give him more leash.
