Note: The Jets didn’t skate on Wednesday but did chat at the airport before they took off for Colorado as they get ready for game 3 on Friday night. They are scheduled to practice today so check back for a Playoff Practice Report.

Note II: The Moose season is on the line tonight in Texas as they find themselves down 1-0 in their best of three play-in series with the Stars after a disappointing 6-3 loss in game 1 on Tuesday. This team has shown some serious resilience so we shall see if they can survive to play another day. Puck drop is at 7 PM CDT.

Winnipeg Free Press: Central time zone, ‘ugly stepchild of television’ says veteran broadcaster. (Paywall).  I will say that I don’t mind the staggering on days the Jets aren’t involved because it really does allow you to watch a bunch of games. Of course it sucks for the newspaper folks who have writing deadlines that these late games completely obliterate.

Global News: ‘We feel good about ourselves’: Jets coach Bowness optimistic after Game 2 loss. As I mentioned on twitter this team is still 9-1-0 in their last ten games and the loss on Tuesday was their first in all of April. The Jets team as well as netminder Connor Hellebuyck need to be a lot better collectively in game 3.
