Note: The Jets were off on Sunday although their two newest players arrived in town as Tyler Toffoli and Colin Miller got to the city as per team social media. Just in time for a three-game homestand which begins with the Capitals this evening. Morning skate for the Jets gets underway at 10:30 AM CDT. All the relevant news will be posted in the pre-game report so check back for that. Puck drop is at 6:30 PM CST.
Note II: This evening, after the final buzzer sounds between Winnipeg and Washington, we want you to be part of the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show as we discuss and analyze the results of the game.
Note III: The Moose were looking for their sixth straight victory on Sunday in their re-match with the Wild in Iowa. They got off to a good start thanks to Ville Heinola but 16 seconds in the 1st period had them down 2-1. After Brad Lambert scored his team leading 18th in the middle frame an 18 second sequence during that same period had them chasing the game rather than in command or at a minimum tied. Jets prospect Dmitry Kuzmin scored his first AHL goal in the 3rd period but it was too little, too late and the Moose lost the game 6-3. They head back to Milwaukee where they will look for a win against the Admirals. Today is an off day.
