Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Note: The Jets used Wednesday as a travel day as they took off for Washington State ahead of their re-match with the Kraken in Seattle on Friday night. Today they will practice for that game at Climate Pledge Arena at 1 PM CST. Stay tuned for the Practice Report.

Note II: The Moose were in Milwaukee last night where they kicked off the first of six games on the road with a huge 5-4 win against the Admirals as Jeff Malott picked up his first career hat trick. Today they travel to Iowa where they have a massive two-game set against a Wild team that they are battling with for the fifth and final playoff spot in the Central. They will practice on Friday in preparation for their back-t0-back which gets underway on Saturday.

Seems like just yesterday folks were lamenting the Jets going “off the board” to take him 7th overall at the NHL Draft back in 2011 in St. Paul.  Well he’s produced the fourth most points from that draft class. Not too shabby.
