Note: The Jets practiced on Sunday in Boston which saw Mark Scheifele skate before the main group although he won’t play tonight. With it being a gameday all eyes will be on morning skate which gets underway at 10:30 AM CST. All the relevant news will be posted in the pre-game report so check back for that. Puck drop is at 6 PM CST.

Note III: The Moose were off on Sunday after suffering a brutal last minute regulation defeat on Saturday night as they remain mired in a nine-game losing (0-8-1) streak. They are scheduled to skate this morning in Winnipeg as they prepare for tomorrow’s game against the Wolves. Be sure to check back for the Practice Report.

Winnipeg Sun: Jets are built on solid team play, but sometimes they still need heroes. They certainly had a pair of players step up on Saturday in Ottawa but tonight in Boston they will require a complete team effort in order to walk out with two points.
Winnipeg Free Press: Jets centre Mark Scheifele might not play again until February. (Paywall). Further to the news out of yesterday’s media availability Ken suggests that the Jets could be without their top centre for the next three games which would give him until February 6th to heal up.
