Note: The Jets continued their winning ways yesterday afternoon in Ottawa to start the road trip as Connor Hellebuyck played to his usual Vezina standard and then some Nikolaj Ehlers extra time heroics gave them their 30th win of the season. Today they are in Boston where they are scheduled to practice at 10:30 AM CST so check back for the Practice Report.
Note II: The Moose concluded their two-game set against the Griffins last night in Winnipeg which saw the home team blow their second straight game of the weekend after holding a three goal advantage. It seems unreal but it’s true it happened once again and yesterday’s loss was worse than Friday where they at least got a point. On Saturday night they saw a 3-2 lead with one minute to go in the game become 3-3 with 42 seconds left and then losing the game 30 seconds later with only 12 seconds left in the game. That drops them to 0-8-1 in their last nine games. They are off today.
