Note: The Jets pulled off an impressive win over a very good Bruins team last night as they chugged along to a 5-1 win over the top team in the Atlantic last night to conclude the pre-holiday portion of their schedule. They will head into the break sitting in top spot in the Central, having gone 9-0-3 against the Eastern Conference and a remarkable 22 straight games allowing three goals or less. This team has earned themselves some R&R.
Note II: The Moose played last night in Iowa and it wasn’t a great result for the antlered ones who began the game with a solid effort taking a 1-0 lead on the power play courtesy of Jets prospect Nikita Chibrikov who picked up his ninth goal of the season. Very quietly his fellow 2021 draft class member Chaz Lucius is up to 13 points (2G 11A) in 16 games for Manitoba.
Note III: Reminder that we are taking off today’s Illegal Curve Hockey Show at 9 AM but we will be back with two hours of Winnipeg Jets talk next Saturday.

Winnipeg Sun: Jets’ attention to culture starting to pay dividends. Hard to argue with success.
Winnipeg Free Press: Bruins no match for high-flying Jets. (Paywall). Not sure I expected to see that headline prior to that clash of titans in Winnipeg on Friday night. Check out Mike’s recap of the game from inside Canada Life.
NESN: Boston’s shortage in offensive power proves costly vs. Jets. Always good to read what the writer’s who cover the Jets opponent have to say about the game.
