Jets news:
Winnipeg Sun: What would a Nino Niederreiter extension look like? Scott keeps adding details to the story he broke and his latest looks at what sort of deal folks might see.
Winnipeg Free Press: Jets look to end road trip on winning note against surging Blues. (Paywall). Should be an interesting test against a St. Louis team that doesn’t score nearly as many goals as the Jets but also doesn’t give up nearly as many goals. In fact both teams are sitting with a minus three goal differential.
Winnipeg Free Press: Declan Chisholm prepared and positive. (Paywall). The problem with the conditioning stint is that the Moose are in the stretch of the season where they are playing games on weekends so he won’t get a big stretch of games in a row. But I still think getting him into a few games to get him some game reps would serve him well while he is waiting for his shot to play in the NHL.
