Note: The Jets were back in Winnipeg on Monday and hit the ice for practice as they prepared for the game against the Blues which is a quick one-game homestand. We also learned that head coach Rick Bowness will be taking a leave of absence as his wife Judy suffered a seizure on Sunday. With it being a gameday all eyes will be on morning skate which gets underway at 10:30 AM CDT. All the relevant news will be posted in the pre-game report so check back for that. Puck drop is at 7:45 PM CDT.

Note II: This evening, after the final buzzer sounds between Winnipeg and St. Louis, we want you to be part of the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show as we discuss and analyze the results of the game.

Note III: The Moose have one final day of practice in Manitoba before they take off for Texas where they will begin the road portion of their season against the Stars this weekend. Practice gets underway for them at 10:30 AM CDT at hockey for all centre.

Winnipeg Free Press: Jets rally around Bowness family. (Paywall). The bench boss of Winnipeg is always talking about “being a family” and that was on display on Monday as players and his associate coach spoke in a way that illustrated their concern for Judy Bowness.

NHL.com: New facility and continued support from Lowry grow Toba Centre’s impact. Nice to see the Jets captain lending his voice to a worthwhile cause.

Global News: Comeback win a small sample for Winnipeg Jets, but it’s a startThe Jets easily could have deflated after two quick goals against but instead they continued to do what they have done for the most part this season, and that is push forward and play some solid hockey.

Jets audio:

CJOB 680: Jets @ Noon – Chat with Alex Iafallo. The Jets winger spoke about being up on the top line with Mark Scheifele/Kyle Connor, his role on that line, the opportunity for himself in Winnipeg, getting comfortable in the city, the fishing in Manitoba, his thoughts on the team overall, what the bench was like when they went down 2-0 quickly in Edmonton, importance of the points, the unusual start time/facing division rival and more. Runs about 10 minutes.
