Note: The Jets are in offseason mode but is there really ever an offseason? If there is any news we will have it for you here. And of course the Illegal Curve Hockey Show runs until the end of July so be sure you’re a subscriber and join us every Saturday morning at 9 AM.
Note II: The Moose played an excellent game 3 last night in Milwaukee as they got started on the right skate courtesy of an early Alex Limoges goal and didn’t stop pushing until their power play finally broke through in OT and they won, for the second straight game in extra time to take a 2-1 series lead over the Admirals. They are set to practice today as they prepare for game 4 which could be the series clincher if they can pull off another win.
Note III: The Ice earned themselves a four game sweep of the Blades with a 3-2 win in game 4 last night in Saskatoon. They are your Eastern Conference champs and head to the WHL Championship. They will face the winner of Seattle and Kamloops.
Note IV: Speaking of Seattle, Brad Lambert and his Thunderbird teammates will look to rebound tonight in game 4 against the Blazers. Puck drop is at 8 PM CDT.
Note V: Jets goalie prospect Domenic DiVincentiis and his North Bay Battalion had a nice bounce back game last night in Peterborough winning 5-2 in game 4 to even series 2-2. He made 37 saves in the win. Has a 2.31 GAA and a .929 save% in 17 playoff games.
