Note: The Jets were looking to pick up their third straight win when they took on the Kings in L.A. yesterday afternoon but they didn’t start on time and were forced to play catch-up which they never did, ultimately dropping the game 4-1. They are off today.

Note II: There was some news on Saturday as the Jets announced their first college free agent signing of the season inking Parker Ford to a two-year ELC. He will join the Moose on an ATO for the remainder of the season.

Note III: The Moose practiced on Saturday as they prepared for today’s matinee against Laval. Manitoba has a five-game points streak (3-0-1-1) right now. Puck drop is at 2 PM CDT.

Note IV: The Ice concluded their regular season with a 5-3 win over the Wheat Kings in Winnipeg. They end their record setting 2022-23 campaign with an incredible 57–10-1-0 record. They will face the Medicine Hat Tigers in the first round of the WHL playoffs.

Sportsnet: Jets’ wild card cushion takes a hit in loss to stifling Kings squad. At one point regardless of how the Jets did it was looking for for Winnipeg with Nashville getting pumped by Seattle and Calgary blowing a two goal lead and finding themselves down 3-2 at one point to San Jose. However the Flames got back in gear and won that game and are just four back of Winnipeg.
