Note II: The Moose were in Milwaukee last night where they lost to the Admirals. Today, they are back in action in a re-match against the Admirals which will be the final game before the All-Star break. Puck drop is at 6 PM CST.

Note III: The Ice were in Brandon last night where they defeated the Wheat Kings 7-6 in OT. Today they are in Saskatoon to take on the Blades who they beat in Winnipeg on Wednesday. Puck drop is at 7 PM CST.

Note IV: Join us this morning at 9 AM CST for a special 14th anniversary edition of the Illegal Curve Hockey Show for two hours of mostly Jets talk. We’ll be joined by Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press and Jeff O’Neil of TSN.

The Hockey News: 10 prospects to watch in the West ahead of trade deadline. While I can understand Heinola being on the list I think it’s premature that Daniel Torgersson would be in need of a “fresh start” given this is his first full season in Manitoba.
