Note: The Jets were off on Sunday but return to action today in their final game before the All-Star break. They take on a Blues team that are also mired in a losing streak (of four games to the Jets three straight with a loss). With it being a gameday all eyes will be on morning skate which gets underway at 10:30 AM CST. All the relevant news will be posted in the pre-game report so check back for that. Puck drop is at 7:00 PM CST.
Note II: This evening, after the final buzzer sounds between Winnipeg and St. Louis, we want you to be part of the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show as we discuss and analyze the results of the game. This season you’ll have a chance to win great schwag including authentic Jets jerseys, hats, etc after every single game and now a grand prize of a pair of tickets to an NHL game of your choice (For a variety of ways to enter click here).
Note III: The Moose concluded their six-game homestand with a win over the Marlies who lead the North Division. In the two games against the top power play team in the AHL they held them without a goal in eight attempts. Of course yesterday was about so much more than a hockey game as it was also a celebration of the 60th birthday of Winnipeg icon Dancing Gabe. They have now won three of four against division winners (two against Texas one against Toronto) and will head out on the road for three games starting in Rockford tomorrow night. Today is a travel day.
Note IV: The Ice concluded a three games in three day stretch in Alberta which began with a loss in Lethbridge to the Hurricanes, a big win over the Rebels in Red Deer and they closed it out last night with another win over the Hitmen in Calgary. They are back home where they will next be in action on Wednesday night when they welcome the Blades to town.
