Note II: Elliotte Friedman dropped a bomb during game 4 and yesterday during the podcast chat with Jeff Marek he gave a more fulsome explanation about his Pierre-Luc Dubois report from Wednesday and added some clarity on Blake Wheeler. Note III: On Thursday the Jets announced their six game pre-season schedule. While exhibition games aren’t usually very noteworthy one of the games will be as ahead of puck drop on October 1st they will be revealing the Dale Hawerchuk statue.

Sportsnet: With the Trotz decision looming, the Jets are facing big questions this off-season. Ken took a break from his Stanley Cup coverage to check back in on what is doing with the local NHL club and there has been quite a bit doing here in Manitoba.
