Winnipeg Free Press:  Rick Rypien, Jets are already winners off the ice.  The organization has already made the city proud with the way it is handling itself.

Globe and Mail:  Rypien remembered for being unpretentious.  A real shame.  Let’s hope something good can come from this tragedy.

New York Times:  Drury, reluctant sports star takes his leave.  Can’t believe he’s already done after 12 seasons.  Pretty solid career.
