Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press: Scheifele’s long wait finally over. (Paywall). While a chance to stretch your legs in preseason is ok for a tune up it couldn’t have been easy for the Jets top centre to have missed the end of the 2021 playoffs as well as the first game of the regular season.

Winnipeg Free Press: Selanne still serving up smiles. (Paywall). Mike caught up with the Finnish Flash in Southern California to get an update on a figure who still resonates with a lot of folks in this province.

Winnipeg Sun: Jets look to shake off rough start as they swim with Sharks. The schedule for Winnipeg is set up quite nicely and they need to take advantage of the opportunity that is in front of them.

Winnipeg Sun: Top scorer Scheifele set to make season debut with Jets after completing suspension. His return should have a big impact for the team.

Sportsnet: Jets’ Kyle Connor flies under the radar while putting up big numbersIf he is flying under your radar at this point in your career you really are not paying attention.
