Jets news:

TSN:  Slater agrees to terms on three-year 4.8 million dollar deal.  Now the Jets just need to re-sign Tanner Glass and Ezra and I will be able to enjoy the GST line all of next season.  We will have more on this signing in tomorrow’s papers.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Case for defence likely to rest.  The strength of the Jets system is the defence yet when they step to the podium on June 22nd, the likely best player available will be a defenceman.  What should the Jets do?  Let us know what you think by voting in our IC Poll.

NHL.com:  2011-2012 NHL season recap video.  Was quite the season to remember for fans of NHL hockey in Manitoba.  Nice to see the NHL start the video with the words “the NHL is back in Winnipeg”.  There were a lot of great moments from this past season.  What was your favourite?

Orange County Register:  Ok, Duck fans, get used to it.   At least for both the Kings and Ducks fans, they are not Sharks fans, who remain the only California based team without a Cup to their credit.
