Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Note:  The Jets returned to Winnipeg on Wednesday after they played a single road game in Calgary. Today they will return to the ice for a game day as they take on the Senators here in the ‘Peg. Morning skate gets underway at 10:30 AM CT. Stay tuned for the pre-game report in advance of the 7 PM CT puck drop.

Note II: The Moose scrimmaged on Wednesday and will take today off.  They have only a few days left before they kick off the regular season against the Marlies on Monday.  Suspect they are gonna be getting some reinforcements from the Jets taxi squad fairly soon provided Winnipeg gets some healthy players back.

Winnipeg Free Press: Jets need more from struggling DeMelo. (Paywall).  Many just expected 44 and 2 to fit once again this season but that has not been the way things have played out.  Mike feels that Winnipeg needs more from te steady but unflashy Dman.
