CBC:  DND allowed IceCaps to use jet image, says document.  Makes sense to allow this to happen considering the relationship they created with the parent club.

Stanley Cup news:

Star-Ledger:  Devils aren’t satisfied; feel Stanley Cup is attainable.  They cannot bask in the glory of defeating  a hated rival, lest they pull a Flyers who after defeating the Penguins, fell asleep against the Devils in the 2nd round and were handily beaten.

Star-Ledger:  In Pete DeBoer, Devils have right coach at the right time.  He has proven that he has what it takes to coach in this league.  Also helps to have such capable assistant coaches.

L.A. Times:  Kings interesting, some might say colourful history.  It really is quite amazing to think back at what went on with many teams back in the early days of the NHL expansion era.

L.A. Times:  As for Kings’ ups and downs, he’s been there.  Will this be the year that Kings fans finally get to enjoy the fruits of their loyalty?

L.A. Times:  Mike Richards, Peter DeBoer: Old friends, opposite sides.  Always interesting to note the relationships that run between competing teams.
