Winnipeg Free Press:  Spring radio ratings 2012.  Good gains for TSN.

Winnipeg Sun:  High marks for Scheifele.  Slow and steady wins the race and you shouldn’t expect the Jets to be rushing their talent to the NHL level as they try and develop for the future.

Winnipeg Free Press:  His life made our world a better place.  I had forgotten the story about Tapper telling his oncologist he had a five-year commitment on the Jets ticket, explaining he needed a good prognosis, but it sums up his ability to inject humour into a horrible situation.  If you missed the post about our good friend here it is.

Stanley Cup news:

Star-Ledger:  Martin Brodeur has his chance to end similarities of series Devils let slip away 18 years ago.  You would think he hasn’t won 3 Stanley Cups since 1994.  Interesting that the two Game 6’s are being played on the exact same night.

New York Daily News:  Rangers will clean up own ‘Mess’.  Could you imagine if someone made a guarantee like the one Mark Messier made 18 years ago?  Would this be good for New York or would it inspire the Devils?

Winnipeg Free Press:  Penner’s in a good place.  Maybe the big man from Winkler might get a hankering to play some hockey back in his home province when his run with the Kings ends.
