Note II: According to the various hockey insiders last night the NHL and NHLPA have reached a tentative deal on a 56-game season. Training camp would begin (tentatively) on January 3rd with the season to get underway on January 13th. There’s a plan for an expanded roster of 4-6 on a taxi squad. Lots still to come on all fronts.

Winnipeg Sun: All-Canadian division not all it’s cracked up to be. Don’t count Paul as someone who is frothing at the mouth to watch the seven Canadian teams duke it out this season.
