Note: Tonight, the NHL will announce the winners of the Hart, Calder, Lindsay, Vezina, and Norris trophies ahead of Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final. Obviously, Jets fans will be paying close attention to the Vezina as Connor Hellebuyck is expected to take home the hardware. The Awards begin at 5:30 p.m. CT.

Jets news:

TSN: An early Canadian Expansion Draft primer. I’m fairly certain the Jets would be protecting Tucker Poolman over Logan Stanley. If anything I suspect it would more likely look like Sami Niku or Tucker Poolman. I also don’t think the Jets are inclined to expose Adam Lowry given the absence of centre depth on this team.

Winnipeg Free Press: Hellebuyck on verge of Vezina. (Paywall). There is no doubt what the Jets netminder was able to accomplish this season and it made him a very worthwhile candidate to take home the Vezina trophy.

CBC: Jets captain Blake Wheeler calls on Manitoba Premier to make masks mandatory. With the amount of total COVID-19 cases increasing in the province the Jets Captain spoke up on Sunday.
