Philadelphia Daily News:  Flyers think rest will trump momentum.  Someone must have forgotten to pass that memo along to the Nashville Predators and St. Louis Blues.

Star-Ledger:  Devils know it’s about to get rough against Flyers.  Should be a really interesting Game 1 today in Philly.

The Tennessean:  Profit eludes Predators despite on-ice success, public money.  When the Jets reference copying the Predators model for success, thankfully for Winnipeg fans, they are referring simply to the development of prospects.  When it comes to economics, it appears that Nashville could afford to take a page out of Winnipeg’s playbook.

The Tennessean:  Preds hope to avoid 0-2 start.  You cannot take a team like the Coyotes for granted.  While the Predators have been the better team, better teams do not always get the victory.

Arizona Republic:  Coyotes need ‘Prime Line’ to deliver.  Phoenix has relied quite heavily on tender’ Mike Smith and it is high time the rest of this team showed up.
