Note: The Jets will conclude their four games at home looking for a big win over division rival Colorado tonight. Winnipeg comes into the game having won four of five and having points in five straight games (4-0-1). Colorado comes into the game having won two straight despite the fact that the team has been decimated by injury including Rantanen (IR), Wilson (IR), Landeskog (IR), Zadorov (IR), Grubauer (day-to-day) and Bellemare (day-to-day). They sit one point ahead of the Jets in the standings. Morning skate gets underway at 10:30 AM. Be sure to check back for the Jets pre-game report with audio and lineup news. Puck drop is at 7 pm.
Note II: The Moose look like they’ve got things turned around. After starting the season 1-7-0-0 they have now won five of six games including yesterday afternoon’s 4-1 win over division rival Texas. While plenty happened in the tilt with the Stars on Monday including Jansen Harkin, Sami Niku and Andrei Chibisov continuing their points streaks the highlight was Mikhail Berdin shooting on the empty net. While he didn’t score his post-game reaction to the attempt was classic. Coach Vincent also provided health updates. The team is set to practice today at 11:00 AM out at the IcePlex as they get ready for tomorrow’s re-match with the Stars.
