Jets news:
Winnipeg Free Press: Jets will not need NHL’s revenue-sharing. So much for all those pundits who felt that the Jets would need to go to the league hat in hand for some handouts.
Hockey’s Future: Bogosian rounding into form. The Jets clinched 2 of the 3 stars for the Southeast division this week.
CBC: Jets co-owner wanted team in playoffs. Not much of a surprise.
Winnipeg Free Press: Jets’ performance ‘disrespectful,’ fumes coach Noel. I’m not sure exactly how many games now the Jets have lost with under five minutes to go in the 3rd period (Off the top of my head I can think of four bad ones – last night against Islanders, Dec 15th against the Capitals when Ovechkin scored with 1:12 to go, against the Hurricanes on March 18th when Chad LaRose scored with 1:22 left in the game and against the Senators on March 26th when Alfredsson broke the Jets hearts with 2:33 to go in final period) but it is those types of losses that leave a head coach apoplectic.
Winnipeg Sun: Snapshots. End of the road. Chris Mason held the fort. Byfugilien’s back-check gets Jets started. Ladd’s solid season. Wheeler tries to escape penalty trouble. Scray injury to free agent Parenteau. Bogosian has flourished under Huddy. Questionable penalty shot. Kane’s inability to clear puck costs Jets.
Winnipeg Sun: Tim wants to be a staple for Jets. There is no question that he genuinely likes the city and the people. While he might not have had time to discover the various Museums in the city, it will be interesting to see what happens with him come July 1st.
CBC: Season to remember winds down. What was your favorite moment this season? Let us know via twitter (@illegalcurve) or in the comments section below.

The Telegram: St. John’s native signs amateur tryout with IceCaps. Always a good move to sign some local players.
Next opponent news – Tampa Bay Lightning:
Tampa Bay Times: Stamkos scores 59th, Bolts lose to Leafs in OT. With nothing else to play for you can bet the Jets will be trying to prevent Stamkos from scoring his 60th of the season tomorrow night.
Winnipeg Free Press (Via Cdn Press): Dwayne Roloson, 42, wants to return to the NHL next season. If Saturday’s game in Winnipeg proves to be the finale in a long career, at least the season finale in the 1st season of the Winnipeg Jets 2.0 will be a memorable night to go out.
Tampa Bay Times: Adam Hall’s impresses teammates with healing powers. With all the broken limbs in the Jets infirmary, they are going to have to see if they can copy what Hall’s been doing.
