Winnipeg Free Press: He just can’t wait. And fans in Winnipeg can’t wait for the season to start either so they can watch Ladd and company kick of the Jets 2.0 for the first time. In response to a question about the fanbase here in Winnipeg, Ladd had this to say:
That’s what guys are excited about — the excitement surrounding the team and how we are going to be treated as players by the fans and the organization. Personally, as a player, going into a season knowing you’re going to have that pressure and that support in your own building, it’s a good thing.”
Toronto Sun: Jets logo militaristic? Absurd. I agree with Broadbeck’s point, but I really hope that this is the end of the complaining about the new Jets logo.
