Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Note:  The Jets wrapped up their three-game homestand last night when their comeback fell short after they dropped a 4-3 decision to the Senators in OT.  Today they are off.  They hit the ice again tomorrow at 11 AM out at the IcePlex.

Note II:  The Moose will hope to keep the good times rolling at Bell MTS Place as they continue to ride a hot streak at home which hit 12 games (11-0-0-1) with their 3-2 win over the Wolves which has launched them back into the playoff mix.  They take on a Milwaukee team that sits one point ahead of Manitoba in the standings so there will be plenty on the line when these two teams battle it out at 2 pm.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets fall to lowly Senators in OT.  Ken recaps the game.

Winnipeg Sun:  Roslovic, Appleton hope to stay put.  Leave a contender to go play on a team that may need a few years to get back into contention isn’t exactly something most young players are gonna be excited about.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets-Sens are the perfect trade-deadline storm.  I’m sure Vegas, Nashville and Calgary also think they are pretty good dance partners for Ottawa.

TSN:  Stone shines in front of possible suitors in Winnipeg.  All three of Ottawa’s most rumoured trade pieces put on a show in Winnipeg, including Mark Stone who notched his career-high 27th goal of the season, as he showed the Jets an example of what he could provide if they were to make a move to trade for him.
