Note: The Jets kicked off this three-game road trip with a tough 5-2 loss against the Habs last night. They are scheduled to practice today at the Sens Complex this afternoon as they get ready for Saturday’s afternoon game against the Senators. Be sure to check back to read the Practice Report.
Note II: The Moose ended their six-game road trip on a sour note as they allowed two goals in 58 seconds (with under two minutes left in the game) to give the Griffins a 2-1 win and ensured the formerly red-hot Manitoba team came home 1-3-1-1. The good news for the AHL club is they will have six games at home over the next 10 days to make some hay at home. Today they are scheduled to practice at the IcePlex ahead of a weekend series against Texas which starts on Saturday night at 6 pm.
Note III: As tomorrow’s Jets game is an afternoon contest in our nation’s capital the Illegal Curve Hockey Show will begin at 7 am on TSN 1290 Winnipeg with three hours of Winnipeg Jets and NHL hockey talk.
