Note: The Jets are back in Winnipeg following a tough 3-2 loss last night in St. Paul which saw them drop the game to division rival Wild. They won’t have any time to lick their wounds however as the Red Wings are in town to take on the Jets to kick off three straight games at Bell MTS Place. While there will not be an AM skate, players as well as coach Maurice will be available at 11:30 am and perhaps he will have an update on Tyler Myers who left the game in the 3rd period. Stay tuned for the pre-game report to get all the latest news and audio.
Note II: The AHL affiliate had a more successful Thursday as they kicked off their six-game home stand with a 4-0 win over the Rocket thanks in large part to Eric Comrie’s 35 save shutout. The team got contributions across the board as they look to make up ground in the Central Division. They have a re-match with Laval on Saturday night. Today they are scheduled to practice at 12 noon out at the IcePlex.
