Note: The Jets didn’t practice on Monday coming off an exciting 5-4 OT win over the Lightning on Sunday night instead choosing to simply travel to California as they get ready for the final three games before the Christmas break. Tonight they take on a Kings team that is mired at the bottom of the Western Conference and doesn’t look like they will be getting out of there anytime soon with a sputtering offence (they have just 75 goals for this season in 34 games). The Jets however come in as the hottest team in the NHL at 9-1-0 in their last ten games. Puck drop is at 9:30 pm and you can check out the pre-game report for the latest news and audio ahead of the game.
Note II: The Moose got back to practicing on Monday but the injury news continued as C.J. Suess and Emile Poirier joined the laundry list of injured players. Today the team will be spreading out to six different community centre arenas to assist previously selected teams to practice with as they help out the coaches with drills, assist the players and follow it by signing autographs.
