Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets in tough spot after loss.  And now we wait.  Jets won’t be playing again unti next Wednesday.  It will be interesting to see where the playoff “line” is at that point.

Winnipeg Sun:   Snapshots.  Another road trip to forget.  Bad pass lead to penalty.  Offensive zone penalties kill Jets.  Wheeler using his wheels.  Making a game of it.  Kane a thinner Kessel.  Wheeler on a roll.  Clitsome gets first point for Jets.  Spelling Byfuglien puzzles teammates.  Should have started Mason?

Winnipeg Sun:  Torched in Calgary.  The one advantage to the migration of Manitobans in the 90’s is the Jets 2.0 will have many fans when visiting the teams out West.  Unfortunately that quasi home ice advantage doesn’t give coach Noel what he really could use in his favour, last change.

Winnipeg Sun:  In playoff dogfight.  Not one team seems to have risen to the top to seize the opportunity.

Calgary Herald:  Manitoba expats beam with pride.  One regret of playing in the Southeast again next season, is the fact that the Jets won’t be playing former rivalry teams like Calgary and Edmonton very often.  Former Manitobans made the atmosphere spectacular both in Calgary and Vancouver.

Calgary Herald:  Flames coach knows Jets captain only too well.  Sutter knows Ladd from their time together early on in the Jets captain’s career.
