Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Note:  The Jets held a very optional practice on Thursday before they left for Detroit.  Today they will have a morning skate at Little Caesars Arena and puck drop is at 6:30 PM CT.

Note II:  The Moose finished a busy week of practice and will travel today to Wisconsin to take on the Admirals to kick off a three game roadtrip.  Milwaukee is the top team in the Western Conference so it will be a tough task for Manitoba.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun:  Five keys to Jets vs Red Wings.  Ken’s big matchup is Jacob Trouba vs Dylan Larkin.  And his five keys include: 1) Drive the pace. 2) Sign of relief. 3) Back to basics. 4) Eyes on rookie. 5) Fire when ready.

Winnipeg Sun:  Defensive-zone play among things that need improvement.  There is a definite need to tighten things up in a number of different areas.
