Note II: When the Jets revealed the list of RFAs they qualified on Monday Joe Morrow’s name was left off the list but according to Darren Dreger of TSN the team signed him to a one-year deal.
Jets news:
Winnipeg Sun: Appleton sets sights on next challenge, AHL rookie of the year wants spot on Jets. Appleton started on the 4th line with the Moose and eventually became the top line winger. It will be interesting to see his growth over the summer although I still expect he will be with the Moose to start next season.
Winnipeg Sun: Tavares decision could impact Jets. All eyes are on the Islanders centre to see how his contract will shape up before the rest of the league falls into place.
