Note:  It’s Saturday which means there will be three hours of hockey talk via the Illegal Curve Hockey Show on TSN 1290 Winnipeg beginning at 9 am.  Tune in here.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  After the Jets’ playoff run, NHL players view Winnipeg as a destination city.  (Paywall).  Always knew we were the Paris of the Prairies and now Mike confirms it when he speaks to a number of NHL agents.  Of course the winning does help as well.

TSN: First Nations team seeks positives after ugly incident in Quebec. If you’re wondering why this would constitute Jets news it is because Jets assistant coach Todd Woodcroft got involved and tried to bring something positive to this horrible incident in Quebec.

David Minuk

Working hard on a daily basis to provide the latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news for our readers and listeners. I also appear on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show every Saturday on our YouTube channel as well as the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show after every single Jets game. And I occasionally jump in the play-by-play booth at Canada Life to provide colour analysis during Manitoba Moose games.
