Note:  Reminder that last week’s episode of NHL This Week was the season finale.  This means we are down to one show per week being The Illegal Curve Hockey Show on Saturday mornings on TSN 1290 Winnipeg starting at 9 am.

Jets news:

Global News: Extra Winnipeg officers plus increased overtime during Whiteout parties push police over budget.  Not a surprise considering how big the parties were getting (until ticket-gate occurred that is).

CBC: Vegas fans crowdsource funds to get young Winnipegger south to see Golden Knights.  She will join plenty of other Manitobans who will throw their support behind the newest NHL team with plenty of local ties.

Jets official site: Despite this season’s playoff run, Jets know nothing is guaranteed.  Look no further than the Edmonton Oilers to learn a cautionary tale of what can happen to a team a year after they reach new heights.

CBC: Jets, Moose fans paint the ice at Bell MTS Place. Plenty of folks spent their Sunday having some fun one last time on the ice at Bell MTS Place.
