Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Note:  The Jets are back in business after taking Wednesday off.  The team will practice this morning at 11 am before getting on a plane for St. Louis to kick off this two-game road trip.  The Jets Practice Report bring you the latest.

Note II:  The Moose won a wild one last night beating the Admirals 6-3 which included an end of game melee and a goalie fight.  They were scheduled to practice but instead coach Vincent has opted to cancel it.  The Moose will be back on the ice on Friday as they get ready for a pair of afternoon hockey games at Bell MTS Place against the Chicago Wolves.

Note III: NHL This Week with Illegal Curve returns to the airwaves tonight from 6-8 pm CST on TSN 1290 Radio for two hours of hockey talk. Guests tonight on the show: Lou Korac (St.Louis Blues correspondent for NHL.com), Ryan Lambert (Yahoo’s Puck Daddy) and Sam Werner (Pittsburgh Post Gazette).

Moose news:

Illegal Curve:  Moose show fight in 6-3 win over the Admirals.  It was one of the wildest Moose games of the season as they doubled up the Admirals 6-3 but the post-game fisticuffs including a goalie fight really got the juices flowing. Get caught up with Peter’s recap.
