Note:  The Jets are leaving for Nashville today feeling good after a 4-0 win over division rival St. Louis yesterday to close out that home and home series with the Blues.  They will face the Predators tomorrow night to close out four straight against the division before heading out east to face the Bruins and Islanders.

Note II:  The Moose continue to roll posting a sweep of their three-game road trip including back to back wins over the first place in the east Toronto Marlies whom they defeated 5-1 on Sunday.  Manitoba is now the top team in the AHL and set a franchise record for games without a regulation loss at 14.  Overall they are 17-1-0-1 in their past 19 games.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets blank Blues in re-matchThe Jets were in desperate need for a win yesterday and they got just what the doctor ordered when they blanked their division rival.  Ken recaps the contest.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets get their revenge by shutting out Blues 4-0.  (Paywall).  After losing two straight games to division opponents the team needed to stop the bleeding which they were able to do thanks to their play in the game against St. Louis.  Jason breaks it all down.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Welcome back, Thorbs (Paywall).  The well liked former Jets forward was quite emotional prior to the game and following the contest I had the chance to ask him what it meant to him to receive the type of response from the crowd inside Bell MTS Place.   Not surprisingly he was extremely touched by the fan responseI also asked him what it was like to get back on the ice as a visitor.

St. Louis Post-Dispatch:  Blues have no goals, and no answers for Jets.  (Answer survey to read).  If you’d like to read about the game from the perspective of a beat writer who covers the Jets opposition here ya go.

St. Louis Post-Dispatch:  A homecoming weekend for Thorburn.  (Answer survey to read).  One of the most liked players by his teammates and fans, it was certainly an emotional weekend for the veteran forward.

The Athletic Winnipeg:  Winnipeg is struggling. Are Dimitry Kulikov and Tyler Myers to blame?  (Paywall).  Murat examines the subject in his latest piece.

Jets 4 Blues 0:
